This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Introduction

New to the forum, first year in a dynasty league.

10 man, 1/2 ppr, 25 man rosters (to make up for it being 10 team)

So far 3-3 which I'm ok with considering DJ and ARob out early. Thoughts on my roster? Hardest thing I'm having problems with is the idea of having to drop 5 at the end of the year - I've considered unloading some of the lower end guys to teams that may be interested to move up in the draft and get dropable guys

In a 10-team McGuire, Booker, Enunwa, Twill all might be very droppable at the end of the year.

Yea I've been considering those. Been trying to show T-Will for a move up in the draft type move.

If you know you have to cut people, I always find it more desirable to sell off pieces you know you'll drop for picks.
Even if you just stack up a 3rd or 4th for each. More firepower from unkeepable assets is the best way to go.
Maybe look to shop some older pieces too like McCoy or DT while they still have first round value

I was actually offered this trade - only hesitation on it is the thought that I'm not out of contention at the moment... but I have to take that right?

Get:
Late 1st
Late 2nd
Carr

Give:
Mid 7th
Mid 8th
McCoy

25 man rosters may be appropriate for a 12 team league (still a little small, imo) but with 10 teams, I'd want larger ones.

Currently working with Yahoo - working on a replacement. But Yahoo allows a max of 25. We plan to eventually go IDP and probably up the roster size a little

Increasing the starting requirements will have a bigger impact than increasing the roster sizes. I agree that you can/should increase the roster size, but you also need to add a flex or two, and consider making it into a 2QB/Superflex league to give the QBs more value.

As for your team, I like what you have, but need more studs. One thing to consider would be to package players and upgrade at a position. Not only will you get better players, but you also won't have to worry about dropping guys you don't want to at the end of the year.
