Rebuild trade

Have a team that's starting to get long in the tooth, and it's best days are behind it. Still have a lot of "name power" on the team, but I'll be 2-3 after this week and in the bottom 1/3rd in total scoring. The team as a whole has been on a slow decline over the past couple seasons. I'm looking to sell off vets and players I don't think hold long-term value. 12 team 1QB league. I was offered..

Give: TyMont/Powell/Alex Collins
Get: Doctson/Trubisky

I'm not a Dcotson guy, and I really don't place value on the QB position in a 1QB format. That said, I wonder if any of Monty/Powell/Collins hold any value next year. I don't think Collins does, Powell just is what he is, and while Monty has looked good he's always banged up and Aaron Jones is looking very good with the opportunity he's receiving. I feel like at least Docton/Trubisky will be worth something going forward? I dunno, not thrilled about the offer but it's very hard to make trades in this league and these players will be impossible to get anything out of.

This is really Monty for Doctson; everything else is this-year fluff or lesser QB in a 1-QB format.

Between Monty and Doctson, I prefer Monty, but that's because I don't believe in Doctson at all.

Not that I disagree, but we're not worried about Monty's usage when he returns? Aaron Jones looked pretty darn good to me. Obviously neither he or Williams offers the same ability in the passing game as Montgomery does though.

I would keep Monty. Even with Jones looking good, Monty will have a significant role in the offense.

I'm a Dallas fan. Without Sean Lee, the run D is basically nonexistent. I would definitely lean towards that game being a fluke, but Jones probably earned some carries after today. Mont was never supposed to be a 3 down back, he was an emergency starter last year, and worked out well in that situation. I think GB drafted 3 RBs to try to push it into a timeshare, with Monty being the feature. I think after Mont's injury, they'll be limiting his snaps. Just my opinion.

I’m torn on this bc I too think A Jones looked good in yesterday’s game. Not sure how someone can justify his performance bc Sean Lee was out. I think Green Bay drafted that many RBs to try and find their actual RB and not a RBBC.

I see this deal as TyMont for Doctson & Trubisky. If you’re concerned of TyMont losing value due to AJones, pull the trigger. Trubiskys value could go up after tonight if he performs well against the Vikes
