How much is too much for AJG? *POLL*

Postby lukkynumber13 » Sat Oct 07, 2017 2:04 am

Team 1 in sig... this league is really tough to trade in, as all owners LOVE their guys whether rebuilding or not.

I have an offer in my inbox ( a counter, so I'M the one who initiated trade talks) that is:

I lose Watkins, Alshon, & Engram

I gain AJG & Gilislee

Helps me at my WR1 spot this year and probably for another 2-4 years, but really takes a toll on my long term depth

in league that's hard to trade in, it's difficult to pass up an offer for a stud.
As long as you on Kelce, engram is nothing more than a bye filler. You need the depth at RB, and i think as talented as Sammy is, his ceiling won't ever reach AJG level. I say do it.

oh and im not sold on alshon in philly.

I would do it, but I hate Watkins, and am not much higher on alshon although I do think he will have a decent year..
its close.. but I don't even feel like Watkins is startable at this point... so I don't really think your losing a spot..
if k Hogan on your roster is Hogan from NE, then id be starting him over Watkins all day long... so to me this is gaing AJ as a start over alshon...

I don't know IDP so forgive me but your offensive players don't appear to be competitive and giving up Watkins/Jeffery doesn't really move the needle for you. Think you are better holding.

This exactly.

I'll emphasize the value in getting Gillislee back for you, as well. You're trading two starting WR for a better WR and for a needed starting RB. Big win. Losing Engram doesn't push it to the other side for me, as much as he as impressed so far notwithstanding.

I think the trade is good value, but your WR depth will take a hit. Although, I can see Thielen putting up close to the same numbers as Alshon. So, you’re really sacrificing your WR3 slot, but having a solid WR1 balances this out imo

I think you're giving up too much value, but if you think it helps you win, might be worth it.

No such thing as too much for AJG. But yeah you are giving up a lot, I feel like you should get more added on than just Gilislee

I don't think you can do it with that depth at WR. Now if it were a better back than Gil I would consider it, but his situation and the plausible return of Rex burkhead next week isn't enough to close the gap.

Three for one is dangerous in a deep league which you appear to be in. The QB play is now of some concern as well.
