D. Parker for Tate (trade rejected)

I got offered Tate for D. Parker in a PPR
I have a very competitive team and will compete for the chip without Tate but he would help
At the same time, Parker looks to be ready to break out with Cutler - and he is MUCH younger for dynasty purposes

Thoughts?

I agree. The potential upside would make me keep Parker.

Tate is underrated and many expect Parker to finally blow up this year. I wouldn't consider swapping them without a late 1st on Tates side. That 5 year age difference is just to big for me.

If you feel like you can already compete without Tate, then for me the answer is really simple. You keep Parker because he has huge upside and it is always good to have youth if you are already competing.

Since you're competing, I don't mind getting Tate, but you can probably get something else on top.

Also - I drafted Parker so I've got two years of coaching and developing him. I've put a lot of work into him! It's hard to let him go! I'm sure you all know what I mean.
I rejected the trade.

I do need to upgrade my WR Corps but not by dumping Parker.

After 2 weeks of Parker and 3 for Tate, no one can absolutely guarantee that Parker won't outscore Tate this year, even if Tate has a typical Tate season. I still expect Tate to come out ahead by season's end - but not by much. Factor in the age gap and it's Parker easily for me.
