Lynch available

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Lynch available

Postby bennythedog93 » Fri Sep 22, 2017 1:57 pm

Hi all - The Lynch owner is taking offers. He says he would like a receiver but I'm thinking he might need a QB more. This owner also has CJ2k and was offering him up to me for a 3rd round pick.

What are your thoughts on this potential offer?

I give: Ben and Britt

To get: Lynch and CJ2K

My team is below.

Thanks!

John

As long as it's a 1QB league, I don't really see any problem with that. Not sure it's going to get it done though, because if he's asking for a WR, Britt isn't really going to cut it.

Is he competing or rebuilding? If that's corey coleman, he may be interested

Maybe replace Britt with Hogan? Seems like he'd be a rebuilder if he's selling those RBs but you say he needs a QB and you're offering Ben which makes me think he's competing. Either way Britt adds nothing so I'd need at least Hogan to move the RBs

Assume team is selling otherwise would keep Lynch so your offer of a QB ready to retire and a WR ready to quit won't cut it.

If he's dealing Lynch to compete and says he needs a WR then your deal still doesn't make sense as I don't see Britt as an upgrade over many WRs right now and borderline droppable in a 10 team.

So I sent an email basically saying that I'd be willing to include Ben, Coleman, or others or picks... then I get an "trade completed" email saying that he traded lynch and Wayne Gallman for TY Hilton and Matt Jones.

Oh well.

Thanks for your help guys!!!

If that Carson is Palmer, I would send him rather than Big Ben.

Lynch and CJ2k are both 1 year rentals. I would send Palmer (1 year rental) plus Britt (summer season superstar, but he can figure that one out) and Hogan (he's on the Pats and young, so there is the angle with Brady) in exchange
