DHop...

Postby Generic Username » Fri Sep 22, 2017 9:13 am

Specific team is in rebuild. I know trading away young studs isn't always the best route, but sometimes it can produce good returns for the future. So, even though I didn't put him on the block, some have come calling:

DHop for D Adams/2018 1st (mid)

-or-

DHop/Ingram for Gurley/Lockett

I'm open to both as it'll guarantee me getting the 1 or 2 pick next year and I can use that for either one of this RBs or trade for a silly return

Easy pass on both for me.
I'm not an Adams believer however and I don't think improving your RB while lowering your WR is a smart recuild move for that second trade.

I'd rather keep Hopkins as well. The second offer isn't terrible, but I still prefer Hopkins to Gurley long-term.

Easy pass for me. I am a nuk buyer. I think he will be top 5 wr for many years. As watson develops i think he will be even better.

Piling on, keep Nuk. The Texans confirmed all of our belief that he is a top WR in the NFL by signing him longterm. Ride his low end WR1-high end WR2 for 5-6 years, and be happy with it. He's going to be consistent as his QB matures and doesn't just pepper him with mass targets, but evolve to quality targets.

If you could replace Lockett with a better WR, the 2nd one would have my attention. If not, keep Nuk.

Keep Nuk. Building around stud WR requires patience but it will pay off in spades down the line
