AJ Green for Arob + 2018 1st?

Hey guys,

Looking to get some outside input.

Was just offered ARob + Cohen + 2018 1st for my AJ Green.

I have been, and considered myself a contender coming into the season but have had some bad luck and started 0-2 (team in sig). Promised myself not to overreact to the slow start but i'm intrigued by this offer. The pick is likely to fall somewhere in the 4-8 range. I'm thin at RB, have some pretty solid depth at WR, and I'm missing my 2018 1st so this would set me up nicely for next season should ARob recover, but effectively puts me out of (serious) contention this season.

Do you guys think Arob is worth the risk or should I hang on to the next few years of AJ's prime?

If you're trying to contend, I'm not sure this makes sense for you. The offer is more than fair though, and probably in favor of the Arob side, but you can forget about competing this year if you make the deal. Tough choice.

If I pull the trigger, I'd likely look to trade some combo of Eifert, one of my 2019 1st's, and Doctson for an established receiver ala Keenan Allen/Doug Baldwin/Emmanuel Sanders. No guarantees I can pull that off though.

As an AJ owner on a middling team with little depth, I'm doing it and hoping the bottom falls out on my team to land an earlier draft spot come 2018

Do you own your First still? I think if you take the deal, you immediately sell Cohen for a First or a Second, and then go rebuild/tank. Go for gold next year
