Soo many WR's and no RB's Overpay coming

Hey guys,

Well Ive always built my team around WR's and then tried to fill in with RB's

This has left me with a great stable of WR talent but lacking severely RB depth.

Ive been actively trying to work a deal to get some RB help with little success, ive basically come to the realization that im going to need to overpay if I want to get anything done.

Current RB's: Fournette, Abdullah & Powell
Current WR's: Hopkins, M. Thomas, K. Allen, S. Watkins, T. Pryor, M. Bryant, R. Cobb, M. Lee & C. Hogan

For example Ive been offered Mixon for Thomas straight up (which I instantly rejected but as this process has dragged on am becoming more open to)

What RB's would you be willing to overpay for and how big would you go? Cheers!

I wouldn't knowingly overpay for a RB under any circumstances. Is this PPR? See if you can get a Riddick or Coleman type for a late 1st round pick.

You have pretty shallow starting requirements. Try to package one of your ‘18 1sts with some type of combo like Pryor & Bryant for an RB like Freeman. It’ll all depend on what other teams need and what RBs they have.

No need to overpay for a RB. You already have Fournette and Abdullah. I like going after someone like Riddick, but not sure I'd want to own both him and Abdullah or have to start both at the same time. I think you can find other serviceable RBs for cheap that will put up decent numbers while the rest of your studs carry you into the playoffs.

What about a guy like Gillislee. Nobody likes NE RBs but he's very serviceable as your RB 3. If anyone offered me a late 1st for him I'd take it in a heartbeat. An early 2nd would probably get it done.

Not sure how many teams are in the league (Maybe I missed it) but I think this is a good problem to have bc your RB's are too far off. I think you can compete if you hit a good trade or two.

I am having a hard time trading a wr for anything. People are asking for my RBS vs wrs. I agree withe above on gillislee. I also like CJ Anderson if you can get him cheap. If not, try Pryor, Bryant, and a first for someone like Gordon.

So the clear partner for this trade lost Arob for the season and is now short on WR's... Im having a tough time getting excited about anyone but mixon. Maybe you guys have another point of view. (Hunt & Gordon are non starters, his values of them are sky high)

if youre stuck with just mixon as a target, id probably offer watkins after this huge game he had. sell the rams offense as being legit after 107 points over 3 games. he wouldnt be a comfortable start for you any given week anyway.

otherwise id look at pryor for hyde, kick the tires on henry either before this week or if he drops a dud against the seahawks, cj anderson was mentioned thats a good target as well. but id be perfectly comfortable sending watkins for mixon. just not watkins+
