trade advice for Jarvis Landry.

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

trade advice for Jarvis Landry.

Postby smoger45 » Thu Sep 21, 2017 12:06 pm

so im currenty the top scorer in my league. but wr corps is getting depleted. Ive been in discussion for a trade and it goes like this.
Dalvin Cook, Chris Johnson, Elijah McQuire, and Corey Coleman for Jarvis Landry, Adam Thielen, and Samaje Perine.

He also has some interest in Jonathan Stewart but wants to go younger. Only problem i see with this is my stud RBS are all on bye week 9 and stewart and johnson are my only fliers. Perine would fit. Should i take this deal and figure that part out later or hold onto cook?

I think Cook is too valuable to trade for a bunch of pieces. He's looking like a young cornerstone RB in a league where there are few of those.

I agree, I'm thinking Cook will be the best player in the 2017 draft class.

Yes I would like to swap cooks out for Stewart. Thats why I came to you guys. I know its giving up too much but with Bell and gordon as my bell cows i dont know when i will use Cook. Not that high on perine and whole reason he is wanting the RB's his backfield is Burkhead, Perine, Ervine, Dewayne Washington, Booker, and Joe Williams.

Love Cook. I think this offer is more than fair for him, but I'd still keep him.

I found someone who is willing to trade Jermaine Kearse for Devondre Campbell that i just picked up from waivers. Looks like im holding on to Cook.

That's a good move plus you will have Snead coming of suspension soon and i would have to think Crowder will get moving soon as well. We are just starting week 3 so try and chillax. Like the rest of the advice you received moving Cook, though deal may be fair, was probably not a good idea right now. To me injuries play a big part in fantasy as well so if Bell or Gordon would go down you would have Cook.

yes true. I would like to eventually have more solid starters for each position. 4 solid RB's instead of 3 and a bunch of fill ins. trying to send stewart, Johnson and coleman for another young RB but also might be able to grab OBJ. It will involve me moving 2 of my young WR and 3 RB's and in return I would get 2 other middle aged RB. I am in win mode right now so I don't care about age. if I can make all three trades go through i would have OBJ, Cooper, Snead, Kearse, Meredith, Wheaton, and t.williams.
