Is Gurley Legit??

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Is Gurley Legit??

Postby The Fantasy Feud » Thu Sep 21, 2017 4:06 am

I got a trade offer yesterday where I would get Gurley for Michael Thomas. I immediately said no but countered with Sammy, which ended up getting rejected. He then sent me Gurley for Parker and a 2018 first. I love Gurley and think he's been awesome for me in other leagues but can he keep up what he's done?

My team would then look like

Rivers (Fix this later)
DJ
Gurley
Nuk
Cooks
Michael Thomas
Watkins
Desean
Eifert

I have DJ and Gurley in another league and love the thought of having that tandem in another, but i'd be left with no firsts for the next two years. Worth it?

Where will that first be? If it's a mid 1st I say go for it.

I like getting Gurley for a Parker and a 1st, I'd do it.

RB: Chubb, Stevenson, AJ Dillion
WR: AJ Brown, M Evans, M Williams, D London, C Olave, Jameson Williams, M Thomas
TE: D Njoku
K: Butker

It all depends on where that 1st lands. If it’s not in the 1-6 spot, you’re not guaranteed to land a good prospect. So Parker and a mid to late 1st is definitely worth it. But you losing DJ this year will probably hurt you and that 1st could slip to the 1-6 range. Tough call but I’d do it bc you have the depth at WR to make this trade. And Gurley would help you stay in playoff contention

Agree, Parker and a mid/late 1st would be a good deal. But I wouldn't do it if it was an early 1st.

I would do that trade as well.

I've been thinking about trying to acquire Gurley. I have best 4 WR's a guy could have and absolutely nothing at RB. I think last week I started Rob Kelly and Terrence West.
Keeping OBJ. Willing to move- Amari Cooper, Michael Thomas, or TY Hilton.
TY seems fairest for Gurley based on everyones rankings but I don't believe that would fly.

Am I correct to think I should be getting back something (2nd-3rd value range) back if it was Cooper or Thomas for Gurley straight up? Like most leagues RB's seem way over valued in ours too. His situation is opposite has now WR1 or WR2 and has Devonta Freeman, Gurley, McCaffrey, L Miller, Crowell..

You really missed the boat here. youre not getting much if anything on top of those guys right now. TY would be way off. cant buy low when the "low" is an elite RB1 so far and your 3 wrs started slow

Even before the game tonight, give me Gurley 100 times over Parker and a 2018 first. Gurley is and will continue to be a stud!

Unless it’s an early first. Forgot to say that. If it’s late then pull the trigger and don’t think twice
