Give: Golladay Get:2018 1

12 Team PPR:

I give Golladay and get 2018 1. The pick (not this guys own pick) is a lock playoff team, champ from last year and I'd say 50% likely to win again.

22 man bench. I can compete but WR starters and depth are a weakness (Watkins, Martavis, Agholor, Thompson, Golladay are my top 5 in required start 3). I don't see his value creeping too much higher this year but could see it dropping.

I would easily ditch Golladay for a random 1st.

I would hesitate for a 1st as late as you're projecting though. What kind of guys are you grabbing at the very end of the 1st round? Certainly not locks for success, and Golladay is already on the fringe of that sort of value right now. September ADP has him at 13th, and he's been getting opportunities from a really good QB, which is more than most WRs can say.

I agree with Jeffster. I still might take it, but if it is really 50% chance that it is 12 overall, I am not too excited about it. Maybe ask for a 3rd to 2nd bump on top of it?

I would sell for the 1st, and then immediately go shopping. Try to get Maclin+, Fitzgerald++, Jmatt+, Corey Coleman, Thielen, etc

Even for a 1st that is guaranteed to be late, I'd sell Golladay for it. You said you have 22 man benches, does that mean 22 player rosters or actually 22 player bench plus your starters?

If you have 22 player rosters it would make me want the 1st even more. That's very shallow by dynasty standards, which means there's a lot more value on the WW, and freeing up a roster spot to potentially hit on another pickup is something that should be taken much more into consideration than in leagues with 28-32 player rosters.

As a fellow owner, I wouldn't trade Golladay for that. First of all, it sounds like you could actually use him this year, but mainly, I just think he's worth more than that. People are still undervaluing him because of how late he was taken in most spring/summer rookie drafts, but who are you going to get at the end of the first round that has his combination of measurables, opportunity/situation and draft pedigree? A bird in the hand and whatnot...

you have to keep him with that team. he has the potential to be your top wr or a solid option in that group if he "hits". he is not a depth option on that team.

Watkins, Martavis, Agholor, Thompson, Golladay are my top 5 in required start 3....nothing there screams excitement when the games are being played. golladay could easily top these guys over the next few seasons. i have no idea how you've acquired him, but it has to be relatively cheap i would think. those hits are what make playing the game fun.

maybe you do miss out on a 1st, but you might have landed a very good player. if you believe the pick to be late....i would hold on to him. the measureables and opportunity is great, the fact that he's came in to the league ready to play because of age and experience is awesome. i get the "value" end of things here, but the value was nabbing him late. now you can afford to wait and see what happens. i remember getting dj in the early 2nd, finding it hard not to sell last offseason...but holding on...then trading him straight up for obj last year. diggs is another guy that comes to mind here. the point here is...that sure you may be able to get a late 1st right now, but you may be able to get much more if you choose, and can likely sell for what you paid at any time over the next 12 months. rookie wr's that put up 20 a few times a year see a huge spike in value, id keep that in mind.

I would accept that right away, look at the WR class next year and the top 12 pick has the chance to be greater from day 1 than galloday
