CJ Anderson and Engram for Crabtree and 2018 1st

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

CJ Anderson and Engram for Crabtree and 2018 1st

Postby BunkMcnulty » Wed Sep 20, 2017 6:54 am

Hey guys, was looking for a little help on this offer I recently received. (12 Team PPR start 1qb, 2 rb, 3 wr, 1 flex 1 te)

I give: CJ Anderson and Evan Engram

I get: Crabtree and an 18 1st

Other owner lost Olsen for 8 weeks and is looking for a young TE.

My Roster Core looks like this (30 man rosters)

QB: Dak, Rivers
RB: Leveon Bell, CJ Anderson, Gillislee, Ingram, Buck Allen, Burkhead, Stewart, Peterson,
WR: AB, Julio, Dez, Edleman (IR) Jermaine Kearse, Marquise Goodwin, Ardarius Stewart, Dede Westbrook
TE: Gronk, Engram, Watson and Kittle

Should I make the move? THanks in advance for any help

Seems fair. If the 1st is early, I'd take it for sure.

It looks like the first should absolutely be top 6 if not top 3

12 team 1 TE. Seems like good value.

It's good value, but I don't understand what you want out of this trade?

The value is really good.

It's a sell high on Anderson and swapping out a TE (not that valuable in this format) for a WR2 and a potential top pick.

Space Cowboy that is exactly what I'm thinking. I'm a definite contender this year (won last year), and this deal not only would enable me to remain a strong contender, but possibly land a top pick in next years rookie draft (Barkley, Guice, Sutton). CJ could finally hit his rb 1 potential, but we've seen strong stretches from him before that ended in injury or last year losing work early to booker (who is coming back). I feel like I can come close to his points with Crabtree in my flex and then have a good shot at top 3 pick for what at this moment is my backup TE (although I love Engram).

This is not an accept for me however. Part of me wonders if CJ finally does put it all together this year

I like it, you've got some depth at RB and that 1st could be huge next year.

The top 6 pick and Crabtree side is good value for Engram and CJ. Crabtree>CJ, top 6 2018 > Engram. Still have Gronk, so fire away.
