Which do you prefer in a full PPR 12 team dynasty league and why?

Cohen; it's not particularly close either.
More of a clear role.

Seahawks backfield is a giant disaster and so is that offensive line.

Chris Carson as he is built to be an every down back in the NFL on a team who wants to rush the ball over 50% of the time. I couldn't count on Cohen to be the same, if so it would be a complete anomaly and I'm not banking my potential on an anomaly. Assuming that's the case he pans out to be a ppr back at best, but I'll take a workhorse like Ajayi over a ppr back like riddick any day.

I think Cohen will have more production in the coming weeks. The O-line in Seattle is pretty bad. I don't need the production so I'll take Carson, but I'd change my mind if there was a chance I'd start either in the next few weeks.

I like Cohen to keep up his production over the next month more than Carson, so Cohen.
Dynasty player since 2002.
I probably should have done something more productive with that time...

Carson pretty solidly. I've gone on about this plenty in dynasty discussion, so I'll leave my thoughts on Cohen alone.

I do expect Cohen might have some better PPR games in the short term, but also more busts and less chance at long-term value.

This reasoning but I think it is close. Carson could easily have the better long term career, but Cohen is ahead right now. Seattle is a mess. It wasn't long ago people wanted to crown Rawls as a top 10 RB...

Cohen hands down for me in a PPR. Cohen but it's close in non-ppr.

I would take Cohen for the future upside. I don't believe in 4 years Carson will be fantasy relevant. I could see Cohen still playing that Darren Sproles role however.

Agree with this. Carson is decent. So are the currently unhealthy Rawls and Prosise. None are stellar options, and they have a miserable line. The way it typically goes in the NFL lately: if the line is bad, the RBs have nowhere to go. They predictably run for an underwhelmingly low YPC. There are more RBs drafted to bolster a weak running game (because it's the RB stable's fault) and the OL stays bad.
Rare are the David Johnsons that can make a bad run blocking OL look adequate.

Cohen in a full ppr, hes simply a 3rd down guy who will get the catches with a few runs sprinkled in. Carson is a bad half away from being back to #3 on the depth chart.

Agree 100%. I own Carson, Cohen and Rawls. I have faith that Cohen will be a part of the Bears offense all year and startable in a ppr each week. Carson might equal Cohen's fantasy output, or in 2 weeks he is behind Rawls or he could be locked in as the lead back in Seattle, no one knows.

Both were lower drafted RB so you have to look at this years production more than anything else, either (or both) could easily be out of the NFL in a couple of years.

x2. Not an exact comparison, but would you have preferred 2015 Thomas Rawls (147/830/4 rushing & 9/76/1 receiving) or 2015 Chris Thompson (35/216/0 rushing & 35/240/2 receiving)? That's essentially how I view Carson's potential vs Cohen's.
