Buck Allen Sell Or Hold?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

I would let Allen simmer a little bit. He is a JAG, but those catches will look really nice to someone in a couple weeks.

My concern is that Collins may earn more touches and just the threat of Woodhead coming back sets a timer on when Buck's value drops.

While Buck/Fat Rob should each net a 2nd, it won't matter if no one is willing to pay it. I think the perceived value of a 2019 1st because it's a "1st" gives it more trade value than the 2018 2nd because it's a "2nd".

It's crazy how often the 12th pick is overvalued versus a 13th pick just because of where the round breaks and what you can trade either pick for.

I don't think that should be a huge concern yet. Ravens throw to their RBs a ton, and Collins doesn't appear to be a threat there. The earliest Woodhead can come back is week 11. I agree you don't want to be holding Allen week 9 if you aren't playing him, but it is not a huge risk to hold him for 1 or 2 more weeks.

Think you've hit on a real possibility here. The only share of Buck I have is in same league I have Collins so guess I'll wait and see (unless a really good offer drops) but I think you're right to have some trade urgency here.

I own him as well and plan on holding him for another 2-3 weeks. Fingers crossed he is a PPR machine and then I can flip him for something of value. I drafted him in the 3rd round of our rookie draft, 2 years ago, so if I can swing him for a 2nd I'll be happy.

Debating buying. Would you guys offer for a 2nd for him? Owner jsut sent a league text saying he's on the trading block

10 team 6 pt passing td ppr

I like my team, but the David Johnson / Ware injuries has me light on RB

Starting:
Brees, Freeman Dez, AJG, Demaryius, Fitz (landry also owned), Gronk

RB2 is currently Jacquizz Rodgers, but also have Forte, CJ2K, and Vereen (so yea.. Buck would be a boost here)

Paid a mid-2nd in a 14 team league for him to be my flex and I'm happy with that decision. Looks like you could really use another RB but a 2nd in a 10 team league is going to be a pretty high pick. I'd wait to see what other players become available in your league.

2nd is a bit steep in 10 team. Keep in mind Buck isn't going to help you in the playoffs at all if Woodhead is healthy.
If I could get Buck and a 3rd for one of Vereen or Rodgers and a 2nd, I would do that right now.
