This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Advice on Improving My Team and Where To Go From Here

Postby ThatGuyBrian » Tue Sep 19, 2017 12:06 pm

First off I am not going to whine, complain or brag about this teams start because it is 2-0 to begin the season (mainly because I know this team needs help). What I am here looking advice on is how to move forward and address some concerns this team has:

1) No reliable second starter at running back. I have tried to address this but with no success. Sure I picked up Rogers and Sims for cheap but they are essentially four week band aids who lose value when Doug Martin returns. Chris Carson has been a surprise but the Seahawks are horrible on offense

2) Yes I have a lot of receivers, young and old, but none outside of Julio Jones (Landry just played his first game) have proven to be consistent enough to start on a weekly basis. Do I try and move Landry or one of the younger receivers in order to get a running back.

3) Tight ends are another tough spot. Jimmy Graham appears to be banged up and really hasn't done much of anything is the vaunted Seahawks offense. It maybe a risk but I am stepping out on a limb and starting Austin Sefarian-Jenkins. I can't trust OJ Howard just yet because he hasn't done anything

4) And the rest. What do I do with these players. Some just can't stop getting injured and some feel like fool's gold:
Kevin White
Corey Coleman
Nelson Agholor
Kenny Golladay (possible trade bait???)
Jared Goff
JuJu Smith-Shuster
Laquon Treadwell
Current Win Now!!:

Personally I wouldn't trade for a running back. I think out of Kelley, Carson, and Mack you should have a solid RB2 by the end of the year.
12 Team Standard Scoring.

QB: L. Jackson, Winston

RB: N. Chubb, J. Jacobs, CEH, Deandre Swift,

WR: Tyreek Hill, D.J.Moore, D.J. Chark, Elijah Moore, Devonta Smith, Hollywood

TE: T.J. Hockenson, Pitts, Dan Arnold

2022 Rookie Draft - 1, 1, 1, 4

It would be awesome if you were right on that assessment.

I think you need to be patient and not do anything hasty like sell Landry or Hilton.

Patience is key, I think you have something good here and I wouldn't want you to trade that away.
