You left out the TD against Den. In my leagues, that's worth 6 pointsCharlieKelly wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2017 5:15 pmThe target totals look nice but it's only been two games, and he was averaging about 2 more per game during his 2015 season. He also only went 5/35 against the Broncos, so let's not act like he was burning them all night.Goddard wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2017 4:32 pmHe's had 10 targets in each of his first 2 games. Everyone assumed he wouldn't be able to maintain that prior to the season, but he's still Rivers' favorite target and that's not going to change. He has 14 catches, 135 yards, and a TD in those 2 games. One of those games was against the Broncos who basically shut down Dez last night. As for Diggs, I like him and think he's talented, but has been very inconsistent so far in his career and has had his share of injuries as well. Maybe not season ending, but nagging injuries throughout the year that causes a player to be inefficient is sometimes more frustrating than having a player out of the year.CharlieKelly wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2017 4:17 pm
KA's value is still largely buoyed by his 2015 season where he was on pace for an absurd amount of targets (something like 190 on the season). Prior to that his best season was as a rookie where he finished as a low end WR2. I get why people love KA since he's a great player, but after watching both of them play I just straight out like Diggs better overall.
KA may fit the mold of a prototypical WR1 a little better but I prefer the electric AB-lite elite route runner who hasn't had multiple severe season ending injuries.
That's just me though.
KA also isn't the model of consistency either. He's great, but there's plenty of mediocre games scattered throughout his career. And a handful of major season ending injuries aren't really comparable to a couple of nagging injuries.

Re: Keenan Allen for Coleman/Diggs/2nd?
It's 100% arbitrary and is really only used as a measuring stick by talking heads who don't bother delving any deeper into the numbers or people who don't want to look at context.flyersfan1981 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2017 7:30 pm And FWIW, 1,000 yards is not an arbitrary number. An arbitrary number is using something like 1,025 yards because I was trying to make a point sound better. 1,000 yards is basically the measurement for RB/WR success in a season. Sorry you disagree and think it is arbitrary because it doesn't help your case, but it isn't arbitrary.
You're really going to tell me that KA having a 1,046 yard season over the course of 15 games within a 4 season span is that much more impressive than a 904 yard season over the course of 13 games within a 2 season span from Diggs?
If you really wanna insist on using these kind of stats, then YPG would be a far better measuring stick.
Re: Keenan Allen for Coleman/Diggs/2nd?
Wow I kicked off quite the debate. I sent a counter of either:
Give: Allen/Dorsett
Get: Diggs/Coleman/2018 1st
Or
Give: Allen
Get: Diggs/2018 1st
Give: Allen/Dorsett
Get: Diggs/Coleman/2018 1st
Or
Give: Allen
Get: Diggs/2018 1st

Risk argument could be made on either side. Just a matter of cherry picking items to highlight whether you're selling or buying.

Probably the smartest post on this thread...shamefully hilarious that we had to get to Page 3 before someone basically summed it up in one sentence!onetwothree wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2017 10:22 pm Risk argument could be made on either side. Re: Keenan Allen for Coleman/Diggs/2nd?
Stats from 2-4 years ago aside, I see a more talented player in Diggs when I put on the tape and rewatch their games. I own both and drafted both while they were still in college in my devy leagues, so I am not biased towards either side. I just see more potential when I watch Diggs, but, I'd be perfectly happy with either player....for me this is kind of like debating Evans vs OBJ, or DJ vs Bell. Give me either or...or in this case the side with Corey Coleman and a 2nd for free.
*In response to someone on another page...Keenan is a damn good route runner as well; I don't think many people realize that.

I would've waited to send the second offer until after he declined the first, but either one is pretty solid value, and that's coming from someone who owns and believes in Keenan.

Re: Keenan Allen for Coleman/Diggs/2nd?
Keenan is in a different class.
If you're worried he's going to get hurt again - sure, trade him - but even then I think you can get better / more stable pieces.
Keenan wins fantasy games when he plays. The other side of the deal gives headaches.
