Amari Cooper

So after the 3 td drops last week and his vanishing act this week I'm now 0-2 and am going to be shipping him off. I've been waiting for this supposed "leap forward" from him but all I'm seeing is more of the same. My question is this. What should o expect to get out of him. I'm starting to doubt I can actually get anywhere near his adp value. Thoughts?

Not shipping him off but very very overrated as a top 5-10 dynasty asset. Lotta people's crystal ball is broken.

I really think he's nothing more than a high end WR 2. The "perceived value" or potential is no where in line with his actual value. Everyone talking like he's worth 2 and 3 firsts alone need to ask themselves one question. Would you pay what you think or say he's worth? I most certainly would not.

I think you should be patient. Cooper is 23 years old and has back-to-back 1,000 yard seasons. He will get his. Selling low based on two games would be very dumb.

Sorry...I have been a critic. Not of his game or anything on the field, just a critic of how overrated his value is here to his owners.

I like Cooper, but I like him at WR2 prices (where he should be valued) as opposed to the Top 5 dynasty prices his owners have been tricked to believing he can live up to.

That's what I was saying. I drafted him, own him, and like him but think he's overrated. Think those that value him as top 5-10 are off.

I wouldn't be selling low based on two games. He already has 2 seasons of play plus 2 games that have established his value. The general consensus is this guy is on the same tier as Evans, Beckham, Green, Jones, AB etc. He ain't. I'm suggesting trying to find an owner who still believes he's getting one of the best WRs in the NFL and acquire Coopers ADP value. A value that will certainly fall when he does nothing better than high end WR2 numbers again this year. So wht not find someone willing to sell the farm for him now?

I don't think any one will tell you that Cooper is on the same level as OBJ, Green, Julio, or AB. However, this is DYNASTY. The ADP is not a reflection of how WR's are going to finish in points each season. A 23-year-old WR that has posted back-to-back 1,000 yard seasons is going to have his best case baked into his price. It'd be impossible not to include it. If you want to take advantage of that, go for it. However, I think it's very risky because of his talent and skill level. I don't think you'll acquire a player(s) with less questions.

Exactly this, hes 23 plays with Carr is a high powered offense with back to back 1000 yard seasons, his time will come

Either get a top tier price for him (which some will still pay) or appreciate him for what he is despite his ADP and I think you will be happy. Great player, good situation and an amazing WR2.
