Considering moving Antonio Brown? Terrible??

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Considering moving Antonio Brown? Terrible??

Postby Ski mask ready » Fri Sep 08, 2017 9:36 am

I think I can win now with the team in sig. 1st yr. there are like 2-3 other decent contenders but I feel like I have the strongest team if/when luck returns.

Three possible scenarios would be targeting the team with (Obviously I'd have to add)
Hunt, Cooper & cook

or the team with:
Robinson, parker, cook (harder to deal with, already said he would require OVERPAY for any of his players)

Or
M Thomas, T Hill, Gurley

Thoughts??

I think AB has a few more years of top tier production, so if I'm selling him today it has to be for full price.
I think that starts to drop down a little bit starting this upcoming off season, but I'd be more likely to ride the rest of this one out with a AB before giving him up.

That being said, I'd need some big names to consider moving him. Cooper, Nuk or Arob are a starting place but I'd need more. I really don't know where to value him, you're best off finding a dude who is willing to overpay to get him.

It might be risky, but maybe trade for Nelson, McCoy plus something. That would put you in a good spot to win this season.

If you're the favorite to win, why mess that up? Like you said, you'd have to add to your side or overpay to get any of those other deals done. Keep what you have for now.

I'd probably only do it if you were getting Hunt/Cooper/Cook straight up or something. If your goal is "win now," moving AB seems silly unless you're getting an offer you can't refuse. If I'm going "win now" you're gonna have to WAY overpay me for Brown.

The best move imo for you, since you have Evans already, is find out what you need to add to AB to get OBJ.

I have the same problem my friend. It can be a real problem, I've made some moves I regretted this offseason lol.

Moving ANY stud like that has to return to me a stud of equal or close production, then another player depending on if I moved up or down in age. Your WR core is beast and there's no sense in selling AB for younger players with potential just yet. Unless, like I said, you can move AB/1st/something else light for OBJ.
