McCarron or Peterman

Postby bigbuck22 » Thu Sep 07, 2017 3:44 pm

Bottom of the roster question here...

I am currently rostering McCarron thinking he could land a starting gig next yr through free agency. Peterman is available.

Do I stick with McCarron or swap him out for Peterman? Superflex league

I'd stick with McCarron. Peterman is stuck behind Taylor for at least another year. McCarron could be moved next year.

It's a toss up. I can see Peterman getting into some games by seasons end. I'll take my chances with him.

McCarron for me. We've seen him perform well in regular season games.

Peterman. Leash on Taylor is rather short, plus Taylor coming back from concussion. He could see starts this year, while you are hoping McCarron gets a deal to be a starter

I'm rolling with keeping McCarron here. I've held onto him for about a year and a half as well hoping for the best and a starting gig. I like what he's done in his limited opportunities, and I believe Cincy put a 2nd round tender on him, or they were asking for at least a 2nd round pick in trades, so that tells you a little bit about where they see him as well.
Entering year ten of Dynasty 10 team 2QB/2RB/4WR/1TE/1FLEX(rb/wr/te).

QB: Bryce Young, Jared Goff, Mac Jones, Zach Wilson, Stetson Bennett.
WR: Garret Wilson, Devonta Smith, Tee Higgins, Michael Pittman, Odell Beckham, Treylon Burks, Zay Flowers, Curtis Samuel, Dyami Brown, Kenny Golladay.
RB: Bijan Robinson, Cam Akers, Antonio Gibson, Donta Foreman, Michael Carter, James Robinson, Dontrell Hilliard.
TE: Evan Engram, David Njoku, Trey McBride, Matt LaPorta Jelani Woods, Bob Tonyan.

It's harder to say without seeing the roster - but I see Peterman as having a better shot at having the highest perceive value this year by actually making a number of starts. So I'd roll with him for now, even if to flip once he make starts

They will both, most likely, be starters in 2018. I'll take Peterman because his team is committed to him as the future, for now.

 That's not very convincing.
I voted McCarron as he has shown he can handle being the starter and the Bengals obviously know he is talented or they wouldn't make it so difficult for other teams to acquire him.

Easily Peterman.

I'm a believer in talent + opportunity. To me, neither McCarron nor Peterman is much of a talent, but only Peterman has a likely opportunity this year.
