Big superflex Cousins trade

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Big superflex Cousins trade

Postby sugbear65 » Sun Sep 03, 2017 6:01 am

Made a trade las night and woke up wondering if I gave up too much. So I figured I would check with the forums thought.

The League- 12 team, 23 man roster PPR, .25pt per carry, 1.5ppr TE bonus. 1-2QB/2-4RB/3-5WR/1-3TE/K/D

The trade-
I gave: J. Goff, OJ Howard, K. White, P. Perkins
I got: K. Cousins

My Team-
A. Luck, K. Cousins, J. Cutler, R. Tannehill
L. Bell, J. Ajayi, C. Hyde, S. Perine, J. Charles, D. Booker, K. Drake
G Tate, D. Parker, C. Davis, R. Anderson, M. Goodwin, JuJu, C. Samuel, S. Coates
H. Henry, D. Njoku

The Cousins owner didn't really want to sell. But he needed depth all around, and this package helped him make a longer term impact on his team. Lookin at it this morning though, it seems like a lot to give up. Did I make the right call here?

Basically two late 1sts, a 2nd and a 3rd for Cousins. I'd pay that for Cousins in a 12 team superflex pretty easily. Now you just need some better WRs.
10 team SF .5ppr-QB,2RB,3WR,TE,Flex,SF,Def (30 spots)
QB: Allen, AR, Brissett
RB: Mixon,Barkley,Rhamondre,Foreman
WR: Deebo,Adams,Jeudy, Devonta,Nuk
TE: Knox,Chig, Woods, Ferguson
2023 picks: 2, 3, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, 20
2024 picks: 3 2nds
2025 picks: 3 2nds

I want to like Geoff but after seeing his last preseason performance I'd be happy to be without him.

White has potential, Perkins has potential, Howard has potential, Goff has potential.
Cousins has performance.

Give me Cousins! If all 4 you gave up pan out then you can start crying but I think you're on the better end. Plus now you can try and fill up with some more potential sitting on that WW

You upgraded from Goff to Cousins while giving up Perkins (who could have no value soon), White (who also has limited value), and OJ Howard (when you already have Hunter Henry and NJoku).

A nickel (Perkins)
A dime (White)
A rusted quarter (Goff)
A shiny quarter (OJ)

For a dollar. Great deal.

That was a steal. Outside of Howard, who's still an unknown, you gave up a bunch of crappy players for a QB1.

I gave: C. Davis, S. Perine, 2019 3rd and 4th
I got: D. Hopkins, E. Ebron
