FA budget on Golladay?
FA budget on Golladay?
If Golladay is in the free agent list (we have no off season waivers and he was not drafted when we drafted in early May), would you blow your entire budget ($100) on him? I have a strong team, but lack any real youth at WR (K.Allen, Crabtree, Fitz, Maclin, DT)

What are you saving it for? I would.

Re: FA budget on Golladay?
I wouldn't blow it all before the season even starts. Other young free agents will surely emerge and you'll wish you had some $

Re: FA budget on Golladay?
NO WAY!
i would not spend more than 10%
edit: i should add that personally, i would bid $6. since you obviously like him more than me, you should bid more...but if you spend all your money, you will feel obligated to hold him longer than you should due to the price you paid..can you bid $0 to get a player or do you have to spend at least $1?

Golladay is not the type of player to blow your entire budget on. I'd do $20 max if you really like him.

Id save a few dollars just for priority 1 or 2 dollar bids but no problem throwing in 90 percent

Re: FA budget on Golladay?
I would bid around half of it. I like Golladay quite a bit though. If you get him for that, then you have a nice young WR prospect with half of your dollars leftover.
Re: FA budget on Golladay?
I'd spend 50-60%

Re: FA budget on Golladay?
I could see anywhere from 20 to 50% depending on how deep your league is. If it's a league where the wire is barren, lean high. If the wire often yields multiple starters, lean low.
Re: FA budget on Golladay?
I have a feeling someone in the league will go very high on him. So if I want him, I'll have to bid probably 75% of it and up
Re: FA budget on Golladay?
I have no problem spending the entirety of it if you feel you need to in order to land him.

Re: FA budget on Golladay?
35/40 is plenty but as this thread has shown, that won't be enough. Let someone else blow their load.

Re: FA budget on Golladay?
I'm a sucker for tall WRs who can run fast. I could think of worse ways to blow your fa money, or even worse have 80 bucks left week 15. If he is your guy go get him. I like him so I would spend 80, but I would save 20 for later in the year
