Trade advice Bernardrick McKinney for 2018 3rd round pick

New to IDP so looking for advice. Was offered McKinney for my next year 3rd round pick

PPR Dynasty league w/ 53 man rosters. Starting on Defense is 3 DE/DT + 3 LB + 3 CB/S

Scoring on defense is 2 pt per tackle except Linebackers who get 1.5 pts -- half these amounts for assists. Sacks and Interceptions are 3 points for everybody.

My team is in reasonable shape on offense. We are getting ready to reduce rosters prior to season start so that is probably what is prompting the trade offer.

My other LB's are Telvin Smith, KJ Wright, Tahir Whitehead, Jerrell Freeman, Edwin Jackson, and Dont'a Hightower. I would cut one of them if I pick up McKinney.

3rd round seems too high for me but for reference this past year Reuben Foster went at 2.11 and Jarrad Davis went at 2.08 indicating how some in the league value LB's

That's fair value but if you'd have to cut a starting LB to make the roster fit, it's def not worth it. Btw, check out the IDP forum on here for best advice

I would accept this trade and drop Edwin Jackson personally. McKinney could be a huge difference maker for you and Jackson has been losing ground fast.
