New to IDP so looking for advice. Was offered McKinney for my next year 3rd round pick
PPR Dynasty league w/ 53 man rosters. Starting on Defense is 3 DE/DT + 3 LB + 3 CB/S
Scoring on defense is 2 pt per tackle except Linebackers who get 1.5 pts -- half these amounts for assists. Sacks and Interceptions are 3 points for everybody.
My team is in reasonable shape on offense. We are getting ready to reduce rosters prior to season start so that is probably what is prompting the trade offer.
My other LB's are Telvin Smith, KJ Wright, Tahir Whitehead, Jerrell Freeman, Edwin Jackson, and Dont'a Hightower. I would cut one of them if I pick up McKinney.
3rd round seems too high for me but for reference this past year Reuben Foster went at 2.11 and Jarrad Davis went at 2.08 indicating how some in the league value LB's

Pass on the trade keep the 3rd, no need you have decent IDP on your roster

Too much. If you're paying a 3rd I think you can get a better LB than McKinney

You should definitely post this in the IDP forum!
Ed Jackson just hit IR unfortunately; paying a 3rd for BM isn't a terrible idea. Counter with a 4th maybe? Or pay a 3rd for BM but get back a 5th or 6th?
