Tyrell for Perkins

Postby WhiskeyRacer » Wed Aug 30, 2017 7:59 am

An owner in my league is interested in trading Perkins for T.Williams from the team in my sig.
I'm pretty strapped for RB depth, but plan to build that by going after Cook and hopefully Kamara or Foreman in the rookie/FA draft.

My gut says it is worth the gamble to get a starting RB, but I also think Williams has a good chance on improving over last year.

Thoughts?

I strongly prefer Tyrell. I'd put his value at a late 1st/early 2nd in a typical 12 team league, and Perkins' at a 3rd.

Not a fan at all of Perkins, he couldn't beat out anyone last year to become the starter. He hasn't done much this pre season to firmly take ahold of the job. I like Tyrells upside and if he can improve on last year's stats or match them he is a solid wr3. Plus with the uncertainty of Mike Williams it's another reason to hold him.

Tyrell is very disrespected and undervalued in the dynasty community. I think he can prove to be a solid WR2. Perkins looks awful.

Tyrell. Although I'm not sure how much he improves from last year with Keenan back, but I'd still much rather have him than Perkins.

I am low on Perkins so I wouldn't do this. I much rather have someone like Ingram.

I don't like either, but would rather gamble on Perkins long term.
