IDP draft in one week. And i know nothing

Ill admit I've never been part of an IDP league. I know absolutely nothing about it. Id like to try and not look like a fool so hoping you guys can help me out with some info.

2 Qb 4 WR 3 RB 2 TE 8 IDP

IDP scoring as follows

Solo tackle 1 point
assist tackle 0. 5 points
Sack 2 points
Interception 3 points
Forced fumble 2 points
fumble recovery 2 points
touchdown 6 points

If possible take the top DE's first ie.. Watt/Donald there are a ton of LB's to select from. Draft MLB's and WLB's they score the points SLB's not so much. Go after SS's over FS's, SS's are used in run support and will be more active making tackles. Corners are normally inconsistent depending on matchup so if you have to have them in your lineup be ready to stream them.

Do NOT be the first guy to draft IDP. Let someone else take Kuechly, Watt, Hunter, Neal, and L. Collins and then take the last guy in the run. Do your research and you'll be able to clean up with IDP just off of waivers. IDP is so much about opportunity over talent, and it's more like redraft because it all gets shaken up every year.

Simply go off of previous stats, rank your players and go from there. The scoring isn't anything crazy and I wouldn't go nuts to draft anyone too early.

Especially with these scoring rules LB will be biggest priority. DB last. Lucky is right on here too.

Keep the IDP forum up to date on your draft and there are some great minds there very will to help your team out
