Peterson trade

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Peterson trade

Postby Motay316 » Thu Aug 17, 2017 9:39 am

For team in the signature, I have an offer for AP from a RB needy team that's on the clock. He is offering this pick for Peterson and I would in return draft Njoku. Is this a reasonable trade or should AP be worth more? Njoku has dropped to 2.9 in this draft, I think this is a huge value at this point but not sure. I've been seeing reports that Peterson looks like his old self.

A bit confused. What pick? Either way trading Peterson for Njoku is silly.

I'd take the pick and move one of your WR's for a RB.

I think this boils down o how much you believe in your chances of winning this year and in AP. If both are yes, then I think you should keep AP. If you think your window isn't open yet or think this is AP's last hurrah, then I think its worth trading away AP for Njoku. Ap's value next year will likely drop further, if lucky, stay the same.

I'd move AP for a 3rd rounder, so yes, getting a late 1st round talent at 2.09 for AP is a steal.

Trading a 32 year old back for one of the top rookie TE prospects to come along in a long time seems like a debatable trade. Again just looking for perspectives.

I'd do that, AP will be in a committee and who knows how effective he will be

You already have Engram too. If you are rebuilding on the fly and trading AP you may as well trade Jordy

Essentially he is on the clock at 2.11 now, it was 2.9 but the owner wants AP. I would pick Njoku if I move AP for this pick.

Unless you wanna gamble on him into the season and he produces high Rb2 numbers or greater, you probably aren't doing better than this deal. I would take it, I don't find it silly at all. But I guess AP's name value elevates him higher to some than me.
