Hopkins for RB?

I posted this in the keeper/redraft forum but haven't gotten any traction yet.

What do you all think of Hopkins in the short/near future? Watson going to be giving Hopkins what he needs and make him a WR1 again or is he more a WR2 in your eyes?
In my mind, there is the scenario where Watson becomes a legit starter and feeds Hopkins like he did in college with Williams.

Even with my rose colored glasses outlook of Hopkins future, I'm still considering using him to improve my RB starters and going after Bell. Smart play or am I delusional and should hold and just draft for my RB future?

Hopkins for Bell, you'll probably have to add more than you want to. If your rose colored glasses turn to reality, then you're closer...i'd say for now hold still. Hopkins value will only go up.

did you draft yet? where are your picks? you have no rookies....you want to have the 10 best possible in your format...i would keep that in mind.

i have no idea where you view hopkins (although it seems high)...if you have him n the top 20...dont move him. sell the other pieces if you want in a package....but i would not be trading away guys that you view in the top 20.

in a keeper vs pure dynasty, their values are even further apart. I think you'd have to give quite a lot up on top of Nuk for bell. I think youd be looking more at a gurley type RB, but maybe talk to the zeke owner

Agree with the above, doubt you'll get Bell, Johnson or Zeke. Go after Crowell or Ajaiyi and have them add to it for Hopkins.

You're going to have to add to Hopkins to get Bell. I'm not sure you're deep enough at WR to do that though.

I would likely just hold him, especially if you like the kid. But if you are looking to swap him straight for a RB, M. Gordon, J. Ajayi, or J. Howard may be a more realistic window of targets for you. Like others have said, you have to add to get to Bell.

It's a tough call here, you trade him you and your wr depth takes a hit, but you can help your rbs. Too me it needs to be a deal in your favor, if not sit tight.
