Update: Traded Landry + *19* 1st for Brandin Cooks?

I reached out to the Cooks owner for this, but am now having second thoughts. I did not realize Landry and Cooks have had the same number of seasons in the NFL. I saw Landry as a vet and Cooks as a young gun

I also looked up their last couple years stats and they're virtually identical. 1100 yards for each, and in ppr Landry's extra catches balance out with Cook's extra touchdowns

Am I wrong in seeing Landry as much more even to Cooks than a first round? I'm no longer seeing why Cooks is viewed ahead of Landry, but I'm staring at the trade offer in my inbox and knowing most here would say quick accept it. Care to help me out?

Update: Made the deal for a 19 first instead of an 18. Good or bad?

I own Cooks in one league and Landry in another. I would favor the Landry side of this

I think they are the same in value. Brady is better than Cutler so that tips the scales for me.

Cooks side easy for me. They may have similar stats (for now) but player to player, the skill sets are far apart.

I think this is a very even trade. I recently sold my cooks for Landry and a first so I'd be a hypocrite to say keep cooks

You can't listen to coogan's advice pertaining to Cooks. He's a huge Saints fan that hates Cooks for wanting out.

Cooks could go anywhere from 850-1300 yards. Landry is a solid bet for 1100. A first is too much.

I value Landry and Cooks pretty similarly, so a 1st on top definitely pushes it to the Landry side for me.

A late 1st is fair enough imo. I wouldn't pay more than that though to go from Landry to Cooks.

I think they are much closer than a 1st. If your league is PPR, remember Landry is co-record holder (with OBJ) for the most receptions through the 1st 3 seasons of a career in NFL history. A 1st is wayyy to much IMO. Landry is just one of the undervalued guys that you should hold onto because you won't get fair value for him.

I would prefer the Landry + 18 1st side myself. At the moment I see Landry/Cooks as "roughly" the same type of value (maybe cooks a little higher), but the 18 1st would sway me to the Landry side.

Talent wise, I think Cooks is ahead of Landry but give credit to Landry as he's almost like a Edelman type who always gets it done but he doesn't score many TDs, so ranking them, I would take Cooks over Landry, by a little bit. That being said, the 2018 1st would sway me slightly towards the Landry side.
