Everyone is making a classic and common mistake in believing that a backup player like Foreman is going to be replacing the starter sooner than later. Despite the 49ers organization waffling on their commitment to Carlos Hyde, he's going to head into the season as the locked-in starter. If he is someone that you want to move you can wait several weeks into the season and get a better return.

Not sure Hyde will have a starting job much longer based on camp talk

This narrative has completely changed. Hyde has apparently run away with the starting job with Hightower as the likely #2. The two rookies have shown flashes but aren't there yet.
