I own Hunt and with a breakout or two might be competitive this season. I'm interested in Ware and the Ware owner is interested in Perine. Should I trade Perine for Ware and lock up the KC backfield or stay put and see if Perine turns into something?

I would easily keep Perine. If you're wanting to sell Perine shop him around and I think you could get a better player out of him than Ware. It's amazing what kinds of trades some owners will do. Have a big OU fan in my league and he wanted Perine, said I was interested in Keenan and he offered me Keenan for Perine straight up.

I think it's fair if you want to lock down the KC backfield. Both Perine and Ware are valued similarly as late 1sts or early 2nds.
