H. Henry+++ FOR Powell/Ware/Doyle+

Postby Dr.Graffin » Thu Aug 03, 2017 2:38 pm

Just looking for feedback on recent trade. Team one in sig, non-ppr

Sent: H. Henry, W. Fuller, P. Dorsett, K. Golladay
Received: B. Powell, S. Ware, J. Doyle, 2018 2nd

This 2nd round pick was from the team finishing in last last year, but they've gotten much better so I expect middle of the pack value.
I admit I bailed on Fuller. Not believing in Dorsett. Hate to move Henry, but that is a crowded offense and Rivers is almost done. Golladay hurts too but I got him off the wire. Helps with RB depth on my team is the obvious positive.

Good move for my team?

Henry is best player so there's my vote. Powell ware and Doyle all seem to be short term players with the Jets in full rebuild, Kareem hunt breathing down wares neck (ware isn't the greatest athlete) and Doyle is replaceable. In 2017 you should be cool but you will miss Henry when gates retires. He is a stud. Fuller is out for 3 months and should come back from injury as houstons wr2

I'm not even a big fan of Henry and I still don't really understand why you would do this trade. I feel like you could've gotten a lot more value in return.

Henry side. He's the best player in the deal. Powell takes a big hit in non-PPR.

Henry alone is worth more than that by himself.

I'm in on Powell THIS year. Forte is washed up. Team will be down and he will get garbage points. Safe RB2 floor with some RB1 weeks mixed in.

The rest are just parts. Except Henry. So you sacrificed some future potential value to attack your window. Nothing wrong with that.

Bilal Powell MAY provide value in redraft leagues but he is an awful investment in dynasty. Now entering his 7th season, the Jets have made every effort year after year to ensure that he's not their starting RB. For 2017, his value hinges on the play of Forte.

This deal pretty much comes down to Henry/Fuller for Ware and I would not send either of those two individually for Ware.
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.

Powell, Ware, and Doyle may all produce this year... or they all may not and I don't think any of them bring much value beyond this year. I think I may like Henry, Fuller, and Golladay as the best 3 players in this deal! OK, that may be stretching it a bit, but not by that much.

I prefer the Henry side, doyle is serviceable, ware might be overtaken, powell is a flex worthy guy. If you need the depth, which it doesn't look like it the trade you made isn't bad, but they are mediocre guys and your trading away a rising stud. I would of kept hunter IMO but the trade isn't that off balance.
