Antonio Brown or Le'veon Bell in startup?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Who do you take at #5?

Antonio Brown or Le'veon Bell in startup?

Postby hockeyBjj » Fri Jul 28, 2017 6:59 am

ppr, 1QB, 3WR, 2RB, 1TE, 1 WR/RB/TE, 1 RB/TE

Yeah, I posted a very similar question the other day regarding if Zeke was available and I'll take him if he is. If the top 4 go OBJ, Evans, Johnson, Zeke in some order, do I take Brown or Bell at #5? I'm not sold on Cooper being worth that high a slot and I can't trade back. If one of those top 4 are there I'll be taking them

No, I can't trade back. Pure snake draft 1 min clock and no trading. I would then have the 20th pick when it gets back to me. I feel there is better value in RBs at that point than WRs, so I'm leaning Brown here for that reason even though he is a little getting up in age.

I was about to give you crap and say "just let us know when you are on the clock so we can help you" but I just noticed it is not a slow draft (btw 1 minute, even for a live draft seems too fast). To your question, it depends how much risk you like. If you are risk adverse, take AB. He just turned 29, should be elite for the next 3 years, and is a lock for 100+ catches, 1200+ yards and 10ish TDs. But if you don't mind risk and like upside, then it is Bell. You realize he is actually younger than David Johnson by a few months? I am in the camp that he will be a Steeler for at least through 2018 (they can tag him again for cheaper than the multi year deal they offered him next off season). It really is all about what flavor you prefer.

Yes. I'm legit worried about not having time to cross people off my list before its my turn to pick and I just have to choose a name I see as available and not have time to think about it enough. I'm also co-owning this team with a friend (friendship test if there ever was one) so I have preferences from him to cross check with as well

Hopefully the site you're using for the draft allows you to edit your pre-draft rankings. That way you won't have to worry about managing a second list.
