I am in a 12 team 1/2 PPR league that hasn't held their rookie draft yet. My rebuilding roster is below (9 starters are in bold).
QB - Stafford, Garoppolo
RB - Prosise, Sims, Morris, Ellington, D. Jackson, D. Harris
WR - Cooper, Watkins, Diggs, Davis, Inman, Floyd, DGB, Coates
TE - Gates, Barnidge
I have pick 2.06 and my rookie draft includes free agents (Lynch & Doyle are probably the only two worth taking in the first 18 picks).
Question: Considering I'm in a rebuild with a lot of young players, would you trade the 2.06 for John Brown? The Brown owner was close to accepting 2.06 + some small piece for Snead so I'm thinking he might take 2.06 for Brown.
I love Brown's game but I'm worried by the time I have a strong enough roster to contend Brown might be starting his decline. Then again, I could trade him away if he does well this year. Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

In that range you are past my top tier. Maybe you end up with a Zay Jones or Juju fell there in my draft, maybe Forwman lasts till there.
Personally I look for Brown to have nice year, so I would make the trade. Maybe ask for a late 3rd or early 4th back and see what happens. You can use the extra late pick in rebuild.

I like Zay Jones in that range (it is where I picked him up). I think that is a great price for Brown...not sure what the other guy is playing at if he sells for that tho

I'd give the 2.06 for him. You can probably flip him for a lot more during the season.
