Allen for Reed?
Allen for Reed?
I have a need at TE for my team as I only have Jason Witten currently(team not listed in signature), I have a surplus of WRs and was thinking about offering Keenan Allen for Jordan Reed as the base of a trade. Do you think I need to ask for additional compensation back, I was thinking of asking for Reed and a 3rd for Allen. I know this is trading injury prone player for injury prone player but I do have a need at TE. Thoughts?

i wouldn't trade Allen for Reed, even with a 3rd round added on. I think that's giving up far too much...Allen's injuries are not the Reed kind and his shelf life is likely much longer. I'd try for a less expensive/more durable TE if you're trading for one. Someone like Ebron comes to mind immediately.

If you're gonna trade KA for a TE, I'd go after Kelce. Failing that, I'd go after a cheaper option to keep KA, ie. Rudolph, Ertz, Ebron.

I agree Allen is worth more, straight PPR I'd say Allen = Reed plus something like 1.9-1.12
