Attention Moncrief TRUTHERS

Need the advice of the moncrief truthers not the haters.i love moncrief and have held him from his rookie year but got a deal done I couldn't refuse. I was also high on Boyd and missed out on him by one pick. Will I regret this trade this season? My wrs are putrid now and I'm working on the next deal (mwilliams off my board 1.6) Or are the assets enough to sleep well?

Boyd, 1.6, 2.7, 2.10

6 is a nice return, and those 2nds are nice if you get your guys. I'd still prefer crief without knowing who makes it to 6.

I'm a believer though, have to worry about luck again this year aswell. Nice out price if you wanted to sell.

I'm a believer as well but too many ? That could ruin his remaining value. Most people are down on him at this point, even though he's 24. Lucks shoulder concerns me, but their inability to upgrade that line that gets him killed does more. Ya they needed defense but u have an elite young qb who has gotten killed the last few years, protect him. Crief is in the last year of rookie deal, he doesn't put it together or he or luck get hurt again im not sure this value happens again. I feel like I gave up on someone I am sure can be a top 16 wr for a bunch of dart throws.

Sounds like a solid return for him. Probably could net you Williams and 2 other promising WR's. Galloday, Jones, Samuel, Kupp, Smith-Schuster etc.

I think Moncrief certainly has the potential, but I don't think his ceiling puts him in the un-tradable category.

Eh, think you sold him kinda light. I wouldn't bleep with your sleep over it, just thinking that if you wanted to move Montcrief based on the ADP you could do better. I remember McDowell on a podcast saying that he offered Montcrief straight up for M. Bryant. Seems like a decent trade if you wanted to divest.

I'd want Moncrief when healthy a TD magnet, while those are flukey he still has the best qb in the league throwing to him. I wouldn't give him up yet, that's a fair deal.

Great trade IMO. You can't just value everyone based off of their potential ceiling. His lack of production in 3 years has to chop away at his value.

In a non-IDP league (why do these still exist?) I'd still rather have Moncrief

That's a lot of ammunition with those picks, plus you get Boyd who should have a nice role in Cincy. Easy accept.

Boyd was a little inconsistent last year but still managed 54 catches. Not sure anyone Cincy added fits into the role he plays. By the end of the season I think we could look back on this trade and say you got those draft picks for free
