Mike Williams

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Mike Williams

Postby MockGM » Wed Jul 26, 2017 7:14 am

Hi All, wanted to see what the community consensus on Mike Williams is right now and where he is going in drafts. I'm sitting at 1.11 for my rookie draft that starts August 1st and have been debating trading up for RB help, but if Williams has been falling to 1.11 due to injury concerns. I may wait and bet on his talent which I was high on. Would love to get your thoughts. Thanks!

Check out this discussion thread on Williams viewtopic.php?f=5&t=140916&p=1293335&hi ... s#p1293335

Williams has been slipping in drafts but not sure he will fall back that far to the 1.11. I was sitting at 1.08 and watched both the backs I was targeting go right before me, so I went with Williams at the 1.08. I think the overall consensus is to trade back if you are already sitting at the back end of the 1st. But it certainly depends on who is available there.

Man, that is some thread! Thanks for sharing. I'm also sitting with 2.06 and 2.11. I am trying to package picks and Ertz (who I won't be able to keep) to potentially move up instead of down again.

I don't think Williams makes it to 1.11, so if you were holding off on moving up for an RB in the hopes that he would fall to you I think you are safe.

I also doubt he falls to 1.11, but if he does, that's the easiest decision you'll ever have to make. I do think if you can trade up into the top 5 and get a RB, that would make more sense for your team.

trade up...can't imagine he's available in a normal rookie draft past 8 or 9...but stranger things have happened i suppose.

I would be shocked if he fell that far. I'd still take him at 1.06 to be honest. The talent is there, even if his rookie year is lost (which is looking less likely) I think he's still a great long term asset. Consider it a steal if you get him at 1.11
