West value with Dixon out
News came out that Dixon has had season ending knee surgery today. Is he a hold right now with lower value where i should look to move him in season. Or do I look to move him before our draft for a pick? I'm thinking, maybe wishful thinking, a mid second.

If you can get a 2nd now, I'd do it. They'll probably bring in another RB, so your window could be small. Depending on who they bring in though, West should probably be the starter and once there are injuries and such, you should be able to get a 2nd from teams looking to replace their RB depth.
With your team though, it might be better to just hold on to West for depth purposes.

i think you gotta hold on West right now considering your RB depth. His value should only increase as the season nears. They may add another RB but I don't think it will threaten West too too much.

I wouldn't move him given your current team right now but if you can get a 2nd I would probably go for it. I'm crazy excited about my teams with Woodhead right now, haha. All those haters...

Once a plodder, always a plodder. I would be taking this opportunity to sell him or package him for someone with skills or a future due to the increase in value from this injury.

Id pair West with a WR not named Green, Brown or Cooper and look to target to RB or WR you like.

...or I would see what else the owner of the 1.4 or 1.5 pick would want in addition to 1.7 and West for you to move up.

I wouldn't move West for a random 2nd. If I could get a top-3 2nd, I would consider that about even. Late 1st is too high.

I actually think west is pretty solid... Just been on some bad offenses. He also battled some immaturity early on. I think he's young enough and good enough to make you regret shipping him away for a 2nd.
