Overpay for Dez?

That's two players whose ADPs are in the low hundred range, plus 2 1st rounders (projected mid and late) that are two years out... Dez should be worth the 1.03 at least currently. So those of you who didn't choose Dez here would trade your 1.03 for this package? C'mon guys.

I agree with your analysis on those 2019's absolutely but I wouldn't call Maclin and Bennet 'jags'. Either way OP you're getting a steal for Dez IMO

This is an overpay. I usually can't abide picks more than a year out, but Maclin and Bennett are enough to make the difference. I know it's painful to say, but Dez's last good season was 2014, and now his team has a rookie QB and one of the best RBs in the league.

Maybe he returns to 2012-2014 form, I dunno. But there's enough risk there that I like Maclin, Bennett and the 1sts pretty solidly here.

Maclin and Bennett aren't key pieces I'd want in return for Dez, and the 1sts are unknown location two years out. I definitely do not see how this is anything 'easy' for the package. It has pieces, but isn't anything inspiring...

A healthy Dez is a beast. I can't see the future and don't know his level of health moving forward, but he has WR1 potential and isn't old. I'd prefer that. I have a tough time moving two 1sts as well, but Dez gets my vote due to nothing special being in the bank for the package.

I think it's a overpay but not how some are making it out to be, maybe by one 2019 first, most of my leagues don't even let us trade that far in advance, so personally, that wouldn't bother me too much, if I thought he was the missing piece to a championship, it would be worth it. You could always try to recoup those picks later. Dez had 9 TDs last season in like 12 total games, no doubt that there's injury concerns there but he's still one of the top WRs in the game when healthy. I would make this deal easily, "if" I thought it was the missing piece to a championship run.

Agreed, it's an overpay but it's not absurd.

Personally I wouldn't sell Dez for this package, even though it's got some decent pieces.

So count me in the camp that's it's not a bad price to pay for his services.

I'd say a first too much if they were 18 but with 19 1sts its pretty even. Especially if the picks turn out late. I like Dez this year.
