Too much for Dalvin?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Too much for Dalvin?

Postby harveyd » Mon Jul 24, 2017 11:38 am

Hey all,

I'm trying to shore up some RB/TE depth. RBs are SO hard to trade for in this league so they all come at a premium. Instead I figure I'd try to draft one. I also have a glaring hole at TE (currently starting charles clay), so the following trade is starting to look enticing:

Give:
2018 1st
2017 2.11
Willie Snead
Desean Jackson

Get:
2017 1.05
2017 4.05
Eddie Lacy
Greg Olsen

Is this too much to give up to round out my roster? Thanks in advance!

League/roster details:
12 teams, 0.5 PPR, start 1QB/2RB/3WR/1FLEX/1TE
Big Ben, Bradford
Ajayi, Miller, Ingram, Gillislee, Woodhead, Martin
Julio, AJG, Dez, Adams, DT, Snead, Sanders, DJax, Garcon, Richardson
Clay, Watson (ouch)

I like it, especially since that 1st should end up being fairly late. Are you sure Cook will be there at 1.05 though? I still think the value will be good, regardless.

I like this deal for you as well. Olsen is a rock at TE that you need. Lacy will be serviceable this season. 1.05 can address RB or else you get Corey Davis if he drops. The best part... I don't think you are giving up much at all.

Thanks guys! This was tentatively offered with the caveat that the owner wants to wait closer to draft day to pull the trigger. I'm hoping he won't like his options when the time comes lol. And I just assumed the 1.05 would be Dalvin since typically it's gone CD/LF, Mixon, McCaff as 1 through 4

1.05 side. You make it sound like you are going to offer this trade, but near the end you said it's "starting to look enticing." So if it was offered to you, hopefully you accepted already. If you are offering it, I would prepare to be countered or have to add in order for it to work.
16 Team PPR 1 QB - 2 RB - 2 WR - 1 TE - 1 Flex
QB- R.Wilson, B. Mayfield
RB- D. Cook, Zeke, J. Jacobs, J. McKinnon, A. Collins, I. Smith, B. Hill, R. Armstead, M. Boone

TE- G. Kittle, Enron, C. Herndon

So did you make the offer? Hard to tell from your post. This deal heavily favors the 1.05 side. If he offered it, it's not reasonable to wait until the draft.
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.
