Keenan Allen for 1.04

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Ended up trading Landry, Blount, late 2nd for 1.02 and Abdullah. Pretty pleased.

I have the same concerns for Allen as everyone else but am holding for now. Honestly think he will give more if I hold out for a bit as surprising as that sounds.

I agree I need RBs. I just don't know how much I like Mccaffery, Mixon or cook compared to Allen but I know I'm in the minority on that

I hear you. I'm in the minority on certain guys up there also. Gotta go with who you believe in at the end. Do like cook a lot though as early as 1.02, which is also a minority vote here

Had a similar dilemma in my draft for the team in my sig. Was sitting on 1.04, with CMC staring me in the face when I was on the clock. Was then offered Keenan and 1.08 for 1.04 and a future second. Took Keenan and Perine. Probably would have had to think about it a bit more if LF, Mixon, or Davis were there.
12 team non-ppr, 4 pts passing TD, start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 WR/RB/TE flex, 20 position players(non K, DST) roster spots

QB- Allen, Wilson
RB- Hall, Hunt, Sanders, Dobbins, Edmonds, Gainwell, Foreman
WR- OBJ, Hopkins, K. Allen, Julio, Diontae J, Sutton, Samuel, J Williams
TE-Gesicki, Smith

I really like the deal you ended up making to land the 1.02. And I tend to agree with you on the value of Allen. All you're really doing is making a bet that he'll be able to avoid injury, at least for a while, so his perceived worth can trend back upward. If that happens, he'll be much easier to move for something you're happier about than the 1.04.

You should be pleased, you won the trade imo, so solid move for your squad.

Just because you are the minority doesn't make u wrong. Draft were right now I'm taking cook 1.2.

Landry is 1. Young. 2. Has vice grip hands. 3. Can be counted on to play. I think this deal is OK but 1.4 for Keenan straight up is better.

I can't believe I'm agreeing with you two, but I wouldn't fault anyone for taking Cook at 1.02.
