Hunt or Kamara??

I have the 6th pick in the rookie draft and I've narrowed my pick down to hunt or kamara.

Who do I pick? Leaning towards Hunt because I see him more of a 3 down back but I'm torn.

I drafted Kamara over Hunt. He should be involved in the passing game right away with a chance to be the feature back in a couple of years when Ingram and AP are gone.

Hunt for me, although neither of them would be my 1.06. I've never understood the love for Kamara.

I think Cook will be there too but don't like his injury history. Who would you all take in lieu of hunt?

I hate just going with the consensus typical order. when picking. History shows that doesn't always work out. David Johnson was drafted late in the 1st round in my draft a couple of years ago and look how that turned out. Can't always go down the consensus line.

You certainly don't have to go with the consensus, but you could always trade back and pick up something in return. If you don't have a guy you like at 1.06, maybe look to move back. Hunt and Kamara could be there later. What were the first 5 picks?

And I agree that 1.06 is too early for either. I got Kamara at 1.12 and Hunt went 2.01.

Can't imagine a draft where Cook is available at 1.06.

Cook is there take him. Upper extremity injuries scare me less than lower for rbs. Don't get cute I think he is has a good chance to be the best back in this draft. If I had 1.6 in my league hunt would be my pick. Let all the other people follow someone else's draft board. Follow your own. Hunt has a nice skill set, and while ware isn't going to give his job away, I can see hunt being relevant, actually have a large bet riding on it. I don't get the kamara love either, playing behind AP and Ingram this year, and projected to be a starter for the saints next. He couldnt even be the lead dog over Hurd in his limited college production. Ok metrics weirder things have happened, I'd take him 1.10 ish

Hunt doesn't quite do it for me. Like the talent, don't love it. Kamara has some Jamal Charles to him.

I think you can argue Hunt has the higher ceiling but Kamara to me is at minimum a Charles Sims flex type with the possibility for more.

If Cook is there and there is still a debate over Hunt or Kamara - that's crazy. The hate has gone too far.

Having said that - with the 1.06 and with you not having a clear cut guy - this is the very definition of the ideal situation to trade back. In my most recent draft I held the 1.07 and wanted Kamara and a few other guys. So I traded back to the 1.09 and picked up a 2nd. Then (when most of my guys were still available) traded back to the 1.11 and picked up a 2 and a 3. I then still drafted Kamara with the 1.11 - and picked up Njoku, Juju, and a post-arrest falling Foreman with the 3 picks I received in the two trades.

In this draft - after the top 5 - TRADE BACK and accumulate picks.
