Jordan Howard For Arob?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Jordan Howard For Arob?

Postby Fantasy>>>Reality » Fri Jul 21, 2017 9:51 pm

For team 1

I like Arob to bounce back and be WR1 going forward. I'm not super high on Jordan Howard and am in need of a Solid WR. Does going after Arob make sense here and is this offer way off?
Thanks

I'd take Arob all day for that trade. He's proven that he can perform and at his worst he was a WR2/3 tier. OJ Howard is a TE and they very seldom seem to produce a lot in the first three years. If the other team will take the trade straight up, I say take ARob and do the tootsie roll once it's accepted. lol

Arob definitely and even more so for your team. I'd send out the offer and see what happens. It's a good opening offer. If he rejects it, maybe add some small pieces and see if that gets it done.

Fair value. If you need WR help, this would be a good move.

I'd look to move Cook before Howard.
I like Howard and he's set as #1.
If he can get more involved in the passing game he could be #5 RB.

lol, I am sorry, I can't believe I didn't notice that prior to posting. haha. For Jordan Howard, i'd still take ARob. I think Jordan Howard is going to have a bad year this year with a rookie QB and average at best WR play. Jordan Howard's stock won't be this high at the end of next year.

it's close IMO but i'm not as high on ARob as most... looking at your team, yes you need another WR, but i'd be hesitant to rely on rookies at rb.

The trade is a push, just preference. I still don't know why so many are sleeping in Jordan Howard being a borderline elite back. Given the choice on Howard repeating his 2016 or an ARob bounce back, I'm taking Howard to repeat.
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.

RB shorter window. I like Howard, but unsure of his TD opportunity with that offense. Low draft pedigree. Always hurt in college. Too many potential negatives for me to not move him for Arob. Again, I still like Howard, but I'm not as high as most.

When you drafted Jordan Howard in (most likely) the 2nd round last year, this was your IDEAL scenario. Taking a late round NFL draft pick from the 2nd round of a rookie draft and flipping him for an upper tier asset.

Historically, Howard would be a major outlier if he sustained this success long term based on the history of guys with his draft values. . It could happen - but it would be the exception. Alfred Morris is a prime example of what usually happens.

This is cashing out of a stock with a MAJOR earnings win. You could gamble for a bigger pay day... I would not.

I recently sold Howard and a 2nd for Brandin Cooks and won't look back with any regret.

It's a fine starting offer, AROB values seem to be a bit all over the place so he could happily accept or ask for a solid add on, I'd want a decent piece on top of Howard, but nothing absurd.

ARob's come along every year. Guys like Howard can take 2/3 years to find.
