Jacquizz Rodgers or Darren McFadden? [POLL]

Who is the more valuable RB handcuff for me to own? I am in talks to trade away Robby Anderson for one of them since I really don't need the WR depth, and he's probably an eventual drop given it's only 20-man rosters. I own Doug Martin, so I am leaning Rodgers. However, McFadden is enticing given the Ezekiel Elliott suspension talk. Thoughts?

Update: he took McFadden off the table, so I countered Anderson + 3.02 for Jacquizz + 3.01. He said he'll think about it.

So McFadden regardless that I own Martin? I get that in general, McFadden is the better option, but what about hedging against the possibility that Martin gets suspended again or loses his starting job?

I'm going Rogers here. DMart has his own vacation coming up and he should get plenty of touches. McFadden also has Morris in there to take carries.

If Zeke gets suspended, then go with DMC. If not, go with Jacquizz as he will be starting the first four games of the season.

And the Buccs have both Sims and McNichols. I don't like the TB backfield at all behind Martin. Assuming a Zeke suspension both Martin and Zeke will be on the shelf for at least a couple of weeks. In that scenario, I trust DMC to get the most touches out of anyone.

This is why I like McFadden more. Plus the Dallas O-Line is way better than the Tampa Bay one. I know Quizz did well last year, but they had no other option really. Plus they were lacking receiving options too. They've revamped their weapons this year and if Martin is suspended or hurt or whatever, I expect them to just throw the ball more instead of giving Quizz 30 touches a game again.

It's skewed because Quizz put up some decent numbers last year when he was literally force fed as they had no other option, something that is highly unlikely this year with their added receiving weapons. In the 4 games he got double digit points last year, he had 35(!), 27, 20, 17 touches. He had 18 touches one week and got 8 points in full PPR. Otherwise did nothing noteworthy as he had 4 games with 5 or less points. His usage coincided with both Martin and Sims out of the picture. I would much rather have Sims if Martin were to go down than Quizz as I see the Bucs passing much more if their run game suffered from lack of guys again.

100% agree. I guess I'm surprised many are looking deeper than what they see on the surface/score sheet

I'd just keep Anderson over those 2
