Offer to trade down

I'm sitting on the 1.4 pick in our upcoming rookie draft. In need of a lot of pieces, and being offered a chance to trade down from 1.4 to 1.5, plus J. Matthews or S. Ware. I turned it down and was offer BOTH Matthews and Ware, or a chance to throw out other ideas. Other reasonable players of his: ARob, Coleman, Decker, Meredith, Bryant. I'd really like to snag Mixon, Davis, or Fournette in the draft, so every step back is a worse shot at them. I like the top of this draft class, so am I being foolish to worry about a single drop down?

I would move down one spot and take Jmatt and Ware.

I'd move down and try to get A-rob. Maybe swap Ware with Bryant. Bigger upside. At the 1.04, you're already in a tough spot to get your top 3, but moving back to 1.05 will almost certainly have you miss them. I'd still do it though.

Value is too good to turn down. Id make this deal knowing that its possible you could still land your guy depending on how people feel about CMC

Thanks or the replies. If I trade down to 1.5, I'm probably looking at Cook or Mike Williams. Maybe CMC if I'm lucky? I already sat Doctson for a full injury year, and I'm not excited about the chance to do the same with Williams. Who should I look for at 1.5 then?

I don't consider Arob a reasonable player to add in to drop one spot. He would most likely not even consider that. However I would drop down a spot for any of the players you listed. If you get two of them it's a steal. As for 1.5 cook would be a great great pick

I should clarify, the only reason I had ARob there as "reasonable" was his other receivers are AJG and Mike Evans. Flier for sure, but he has some depth at WR.

1.05 + Matthews + Ware is a no brainer. Then you take whoever falls out of: LF, Mixon, Davis, CMC and Cook. Congratulations on rocking the first round of your draft....

Yeah, the deal is done. I got Matthews/Ware/1.05 and he got the 1.04. I'm pretty sure I won that trade, but he moved back from 1.01 to 1.05 (Got Baldwin), and then up to my 1.04, so I can help but feel he's playing the long game. Some sort of Fantasy Football Kaiser Soze. Thanks for the input everyone.
