Which deal if any?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Which deal if any?

Postby Eli4Prez » Thu Jul 20, 2017 7:21 am

This is for team 2 in my signature. I am pretty deep at WR although I have some injury concerns. However most of my RB are are big questions marks. I have been offered two deals for Devante Parker. It seems as though he may be on the verger of a breakout. So I am looking for opinions on what you would do

Deal 1: Give Parker and Evan Engram Get Lamar Miller and 2018 2nd

Deal 2: Give Parker Get Hyde

Deal 3: Keep Parker and worry about it later ans hopefully he breaks out.

I like the first deal as I wouldn't move just Miller for Parker/Engram.

If anything I would maybe go after Hyde, but even then I might just hang on to parker. definitely would not

I like your group. You've definitely got the depth to make a WR for RB move, however I think I'd be trying to move Keenan, Alshon, JMatt, Crowder or some combo rather than Parker. You're setup with some young guys and I'd keep that in tact. I'd rather offer Alshon and Crowder for a more consistent back... In the Freeman range?

Not wild about either of those rb but they would help your rb depth, I'd hold and look to make a move closer to the season

Miller > Hyde

I would strongly consider the first deal. Miller should be more efficient this year with Osweiler gone

I would do deal 1 and 2 here with a preference for deal 2 (assuming you have Joe Williams). You have a lot of depth at WR and this would be a good move to get a solid RB which are hard to pry from owners at times.

Eli4Prez, a quick tip. I would organize your signature from most valuable to least valuable player. So for example on your WRs on team 2, I would list it as Evans, Cooper..etc. It makes it a lot easier when looking at your team.

I do not have Joe Williams but may be able to get him but would probably have to overpay for him

Everyone is worried about Joe Williams.
I'd be FAR, FAR, FAR more worried about Foreman if I were a Miller owner. Right now, Lamar Miller feels a lot like Jeremy Langford did last season to me (situationally, not talent-wise).

Do not give up an asset like Parker for Miller. If you can buy low on Hyde, great - but giving Parker is not buying low.

You already have several breakout candidates at RB on your team. With Hyde and Miller, I feel like you're just adding more uncertainty. In a shallow 10 team league you should be targeting a higher end RB - that's the only type player that would make a real difference to your squad.

I'd probably take the first deal and I'm lower in Miller than most

Miller is NOTHING like Langford - either talent or situation.

I think Parker is swiftly replacing Moncrief as the most overvalued disappointment at WR on this forum.

I think everyone is pretty low on Miller right now, but I would still take the 1st deal.
