Evans+ for David Johnson+

Have been offered David Johnson and Amari Cooper for Mike Evans, Melvin Gordon and Marcus Mariota. I love the thought of having a consistent RB1 and a WR with the potential to be a top 5 WR. I struggle with letting go of Mike Evans and knowing Gordon is setup to have another good year. Thoughts? Team in sig.

10 team, 1QB, Mariota doesn't move the needle at all. I'm going with the DJ side. I think the gap of Amari to MG is more than Evans to DJ.

I think Evan's numbers come back to earth this season and the difference between him and Cooper will be negligible, if any at all. I like DJ and Cooper. Its why they are on my team!

Not sure what you mean by down to earth, it is not as if he put up 2000 yards and 20 tds. I also expect DJs numbers to come down as well and I think that the two of them are close to even. It comes down to what you think of MG3/Cooper and what you need more. I think both should produce again this year.

I think overall the VALUE is on the DJ/Cooper side but it is close.

replace Cooks for Evans and see if he bites. Otherwise I stay pat, but I am low on Cooper and don't think he will ever live up to the hype

Evans and DJ aren't too far apart. However, I'd much rather have Cooper than Gordon and Mariota (in 1QB).

Gordon is the X factor for me. The rest seem stable, but I cannot get a read if he is the guy from last year or 2015. . . DJ/Coop for me. All day long

You're basically reconfiguring your team from being centered around Evans to being centered around DJ. I like being centered around a stud WR. I also don't know why or how Cooper gets lumped in with the elite WR rankings when he's yet to prove what they have. I think it's totally fair, just would prefer Evans over DJ.

Mariota's value goes way up with that many teams.

I have Evans >> DJ and Cooper >> Gordon, so that's tough. I would take the Evans side because he's the best piece in the deal and I don't like putting that sort of value in an RB.

Mariota doesn't change anything for me in a shallow 10-team league.

Looks like the other owner is targeting Mariota and de-valuing him a little bit because you already have Wilson.

I originally voted DJ & Coop but knowing now it's 16-team league I think your giving up a little too much. I like the idea of seeing if you can swap out Evans for Cooks and still get the deal done.

Your team looks pretty solid for 16-team league as is. Don't make a move just to make a move, but definitely pull the trigger if it favors you!

It's not a 16 team league, it's a 10 team league with 16 man rosters.

I'd take DJ/Cooper here. Though it is pretty close. After acquiring Cooper I'd throw him OTB and hope the Julio/AJG/AB owners prefer youth.
