Diggs or Cooks

Postby Peteey84 » Wed Jul 19, 2017 4:02 am

I was thinking of offering Diggs and an 18 1st (mid) for Cooks. Too much, not enough, stick with Diggs?

WR: Chase, DK, ARSB, Godwin, Samuels, Wan’Dale

I like a trade like that. Cooks as your WR3/4 gives you week winning upside, while your other WRs (if ARob/Nuk bounce back like I expect them to-maybe not to that elite level, but high end WR2 with WR1 upside) give you a solid floor. I am a big fan of Diggs, so I would see about sending Alshon instead, and try to get something else back or swap the 1st with a 2nd.

I like moving Alshon instead also. Trade partner might consider it straight up or add a 2nd.

I would honestly hesitate to offer the pick for Cooks. There are so many mouths to feed, I don't see Cooks having any consistent success. I see people thinking he will be Randy Moss in that offense, I expect more Brandon Lafell like production
I am just a guy sharing some thoughts

I'm not convinced that the side to add for this deal won't be the Cooks side halfway through this season

Diggs had injury concerns, but when healthy he's a ppr stud with Bradford throwing. Minnesota hasn't added anything to cause Diggs not to stay the #1 target, and a not as horrible line and decent running back should help his yardage go up if Bradford has even remotely decent time

Diggs had the number of catches he did, with his QB being the most pressured in the league
Team 1- 10 team ppr, 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2Flx, 1D, 1K
2022: 1-8
Finishes: 6th, 6th, 1st, 5th, 6th, 9th
QB: Lamar Jackson, Purdy
RB: Bijan, Dobbins, Achane, Charbonnet, Algier, McBride, waiver trash
WR: JSN, QJ, Addison, Dotson, Skyy Moore, Jameson Williams, Hyatt, T Dell, Boutte, Skowronek, Quez Watkins, Greg Dortch, waiver trash
TE: Hockenson, F Monroe, Juwan, Musgrave
D/K: Patriots, Vikings, Saints, Dicker

picks-
2024- 1,1,1,1,2,2,2,3,3,4,5,5
2025 1,1,1,2,3,4,5

team 2- 12 team SF, .5PPR, .5TE boost, 1QB, 1SF, 2 RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2Flex
2022: 8-1
Finishes: 2nd, 2nd, 2nd, 2nd :wall:
QB: Ljax, GenoD Jones, Minshew, Dobbs
RB: CMC, Stevenson, A Jones, Chubb, A Mattison, D cook, Perine, Mckinnon,
WR:Tyreek, Diggs, C Kupp, D Adams, Keenan Allen, Lockett, Gallup, A Lazard, Hodgins
