rank these running backs 1-3 for dynasty half ppr

Postby AndrewS » Mon Jul 17, 2017 11:48 am

Would like to add some depth at RB for team 1 (12 team half ppr). Thinking of offering my '18 first along with my '19 first for Jamison Crowder and one of these running backs: CJ Anderson, Kenneth Dixon, Jeremy McNichols. So, two questions:
1. How would you rank these three for dynasty (personally i think i'd go Dixon, CJA, McNichols) and,
2. Is two firsts a decent offer for Crowder and one of these RBs?

Appreciate any input.

Dixon, CJ, McNichols for me. and no, that's far too much IMO. I would say one first is plenty, but I may be lower on the Crowder hype than most

Dixon
Anderson

McNichols

And two future 1sts (1 year and 2 year from now) for Crowder and Dixon is a pretty good offer. It could go either way though depending on what the other owner is trying to do. You may need to add as I (and probably the other owner) would expect the 1sts to be late ones.

I'd say CJA, Dixon, McNichols because CJA is the starter and we don't know for sure that Dixon will be. That said, two 1sts is way too much for Crowder and one of those RBs. I'd be selling Crowder at a 1st, but buying for a 2nd. Those RBs are worth a 2nd at most to me.

CJA
Dixon

McNichols
I think two firsts is fair, but I'd try doing it for a little less to start. Maybe a 1 and a 2nd or two.
All my teams suck. And I'm not in your league.

I wouldn't do that. this past years rookie draft saw Michael Thomas go around pick 1.9 and then Jordan howard was a 2nd rounder idk about you but I would rather have the chance to land those guys than to have a steady wr2 with no star weekly upside and a potential starting running back. Dixon is prob still worth a first as he could be the lead dog in his backfield and was a 1st rounder in drafts last year, crowder I don't see being a star but being steady yet unsexy. Mcnichols for a first is extremely silly I think he was going in rounds 3 or 4 of this rookie draft so I don't see the logic to that option, and CJA is too much of an enigma for me to sacrifice a first between the surprise role to begin with, then struggles, then success, then injury he has just been all over the place in his career as far as how the community views his role, talent, effectiveness, durability, etc.

I'm not going to rank them because that might enable you to waste an extra 1st to get Crowder and one of those RBs.
