Robinson & '19 2nd for Watkins, Meredith, '19 1st

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Robinson & '19 2nd for Watkins, Meredith, '19 1st

Postby stoneghost28 » Mon Jul 17, 2017 11:13 am

So I've gotten interest in Allen Robinson in my orphan league from one owner, it's a total rebuild and I expect it to be finished by '18. I looked at his roster and he has no '18 1st, and his most interesting WR's to me are Watkins, Meredith and Mike Williams, his most interesting RB's are Ty Montgomery and Tevin Coleman and he does have a '19 1st.

What might be a reasonable offer? Having a hard time putting it together as I like Watkins but the injury risk makes me nervous so I'd want more.

12 team PPR:

My Roster:
Garoppolo, Jimmy NE QB
Prosise, C.J. SEA RB
Perine, Samaje WAS RB
Foreman, D'Onta HOU RB
Washington, DeAndre OAK RB
Hood, Elijah OAK RB
Beckham, Odell NYG WR
Robinson, Allen JAC WR
Diggs, Stefon MIN WR
Coleman, Corey CLE WR
Ginn Jr., Ted NO WR
Treadwell, Laquon MIN WR
Funchess, Devin CAR WR
Henderson, Carlos DEN WR
Taylor, Taywan TEN WR
Reynolds, Josh LAR WR
Doyle, Jack IND TE
Howard, O.J. TB TE
Njoku, David CLE TE
Everett, Gerald LAR TE
Shaheen, Adam CHI TE
Jaguars, Jacksonville JAC DE

His Roster:
Prescott, Dak DAL QB
Palmer, Carson ARI QB
Mahomes, Patrick KC QB
Gordon, Melvin LAC RB
Murray, DeMarco TEN RB
Montgomery, Ty GB RB
Coleman, Tevin ATL RB
Blount, LeGarrette PHI RB
Smallwood, Wendell PHI RB
Nelson, Jordy GB WR
Hopkins, DeAndre HOU WR
Watkins, Sammy BUF WR
Meredith, Cameron CHI WR
Williams, Mike LAC WR
Jones, Zay BUF WR
Austin, Tavon LAR WR
Williams, Chad ARI WR
Ebron, Eric DET TE
Higbee, Tyler LAR TE
Kittle, George SF TE
McManus, Brandon DEN PK
Eagles, Philadelphia PHI DE

I have zero QB's and am going to wait on QB till I'm a contender next year (will acquire some scrub from the waiver wire before the season starts by waiving somebody or making a trade of a player(s) for picks before the season starts), I didn't intend to get so many TE's, but nobody was buying on Doyle, and in the rookie draft Howard was still there at 2.1, Everett was still there at 5.3, and Shaheen still there at 6.1and there was no way I was letting them go at those discounts. Way too much value to pass up.

list the other team as well. we gotta see his needs. He likely doesn't wanna acquire Robinson and trade away Watkins though. I am guessing he wants to build around young WRs and is hoping you are down on him after a rocky 2016

I think the offer is fair, maybe even slightly on the Watkins side if the 1st ends up being very early...however, I have a hard time trusting Sammy, so I'm not sure I'd want to make this move.

ask for Jordy and mike Williams that would be sick have the high end talent with the young gun to pick up when he leaves
