Njoku+ vs Jordan Reed

I drafted Njoku in our rookie draft for team 1 below. The guy that owns reed has reached out to me and offered:

Give: Njoku and 2018 first (late)
Receive: Reed

I currently only have one first round and two fourth round picks in the 2018 draft. Would this move be worth it for my team? I know Reed is a risk but is so good when he plays.

I would sit tight. Reed has too much risk with his health issues, and you are in good shape this season with Graham.

This. I don't buy or understand the David Njoku hype.

Contender, Reed. Rebuilding or middle of the pack, take Njoku and the 1st. Reed has very serious concussion issues that could knock him out of the league. I don't see many players getting this type of return for him.

Tough one as I like Njoku a great deal. But I am not giving up my top rated dynasty TE for the wait.

Shows how polarizing Reed is. Some say "Reed, not close" others say "Instant reject". Not only are people on both sides of the trade, they are at extremes on both sides. Reed is one of the most enigmatic dynasty assets.

I would hold on what you have. I don't like trading that kind of value for someone who could potentially be out of the league with one big hit. Wouldn't fault you for making the trade though because he is going to put up huge number while on the field.

Reed is hot when he's well, which is not that often. I'd stick with the rookie and the first. Graham and Clay are good enough to get what you need out of that spot this year.

I would take the Reed side. If the 2018 1st is yours and it will indeed be late then you are contending now and Reed can/will help with that more than Njoku and a late 2018 1st. Njoku could be the next ASJ (even though I like him for a bounceback this year with the Jets) nothing says Njoku will help out this or even next year. If you are rebuilding then keep what ya got!!
